Data is often siloed and the sharing of it fragmented. Sharing data supports patients both at the point of care, and at the population level, to give policymakers insights into population-level health needs. Data sharing can also help reduce care disparities by tying the information shared to success and quality measures. Industry Initiatives’ Data Sharing program works to improve California’s health data infrastructure and facilitate the sharing of essential health information to drive improvements in patient outcomes and care delivery.
